Privacy policy

BuddieLink is a product of Hutliv Technologies. It helps a customer share an enquiry with a business and receive that business's response.

Signing in to BuddieLink uses the same phone number and account system as Hutliv Technologies' other products. Your customer request is scoped to the business you chose; your phone number does not grant access to other requests or conversations.

We process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, enquiry, chat messages, voice transcription, photos and service location. We use it to run the requested conversation, deliver the enquiry, prevent abuse and operate the service.

If you enable WhatsApp updates, BuddieLink records your verified number, request-specific consent and delivery status. You receive only operational updates for that request, not promotional messages. Reply STOP BUDDIELINK to stop updates.

Private request links work without cookies and expire after 180 days. Anyone you share a link with can view that request. You can request a fresh link from the same verified WhatsApp number. Stopping updates does not cancel your request with the business.

Business owners can update their business information. Customers may ask the relevant business or Hutliv Technologies to correct or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. We use service providers for hosting, AI processing and message delivery only as needed to operate BuddieLink.
